Job Description Scope of Position:
The Director or Sr.
Director Quality / Technical Services will build and lead the Quality department and the organization to achievement of world class standards, achieving SQF Certification and sustainable quality and continuous improvement programs.
oOversight includes QC, QA, Quality Systems, document control, laboratories, testing, etc.
, overall a team of 20
in the department, with multiple direct reports, with accountability for the correct team composition.
Requirements:
oBachelor Degree required; Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, MBA is always good - preferred oIndustry experience with dairy and food processing oSQF Certification, annual audit experience, SQF Level 2 Certification oMinimum of 10 to 15 year progressively growing to a Director of Quality role, prefer someone that has progressed to the executive level to a VP of Quality so more like 15 to 20 years oLeadership experience of 10 years over a laboratory, QC, QA, Quality Systems, document control - management of multiple direct reports - 3 to 4 direct reports initially, overall group of 20+, will need to assess skills, adjust team composition, etc.
oRegulatory Agency interaction with the FDA and USDA oExperience as a Change Agent changing the reputation of Quality in the organization oOversight for R&D, new product development, marketing, testing procedures, etc.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
