Custodian Part Time
DEFINITION:
Under supervision of the HR Director, perform required custodial and maintenance of buildings and outdoor areas in a clean safe, orderly and secure manner; and do related work as required.
This is a non-exempt position.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES :
- Dusts and washes furniture and woodwork; - Pick up litter in the parking lot - Empties trash, ash cans and clean receptacles; washes windows and walls; - Clean and maintain restrooms; - Waters lawns and shrubs as needed; - Performs minor repair tasks; moves furniture and equipment; - Keep Executive Secretary aware of cleaning supplies that are needed EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS :
Education :
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience :
One year experience in general custodial work desirable.
Knowledge and Abilities :
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to walk, stoop and squat as needed; be able to lift and carry in excess of 40 pounds on a regular basis and to stand as much as 95% of their scheduled working time.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE EMPLOYEE TO MAINTAIN THE REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY FOR THIS POSITION.
SALARY RANGE :
RANGE 51.
